Volunteer With Us

The 501st Legion Icelandic Garrison relies heavily on our non-costumed support crew to make every event a success. If you do not have Star Wars armor but still want to help us raise money for charity and bring joy to the community, we need you on our team.

What Our Volunteers Do

Handlers: Wearing Imperial armor severely limits visibility and mobility. Handlers are our eyes and ears on the ground. You will guide costumed members safely through crowds, assist with putting on complex armor, hold props, and ensure troopers stay hydrated.

Event Logistics: We need hands to help transport gear, set up props or manage public lines at conventions.

Media & Photography: If you have a good eye or a great camera, we always need dedicated photographers to capture our charity troops so our members can stay in character.
